Cross flow fans are often called tangential or blower wheel fans. These fans generate a wide, even flow of air parallel to the unit which is being cooled, Efficiency and noise are lower than when normal axial fans are being used. The fan's motor location can be changed according customer request. The motor can also be mounted in the middle of 2 impellers. Options which are available are:

- signal-frequency detection
- temperature control
